This past weekend I was able to take my friend Alissa from high school’s family photos. Alissa and I were on cheer together all 4 years of high school!:)Alissa and her husband Michael have been married for almost 5 years now (wow I can’t believe its already been that long!) Alissa, Michael, their 19 month old Deegan, and I went to Santiago Oaks Park in Orange to take some photos. It was a very pretty day and I think we got a lot of good shots.:)These are just a few of my favorites.

And the main reason they asked me to take their family photos was to announce that baby #2 is on the way! Congratulations you guys!:)

Although May is looking to be a very busy month for me with my full-time job busier than ever, wedding showers, the MS Walk and my sister’s graduation; I have three photo shoots coming up that I’m really looking forward to!
I am very excited for my good friend Jill and her husband Matt to introduce their baby to the world and excited that they have let me be the one to take their baby’s newborn photos:)I have SO many fun ideas already and can’t wait to try them out! It will also be exciting to hear if the little one is a boy or a girl since they decided to wait to find out what they are having. Jill is due May 27thso expect to see those photos up in early June!
My good friend Alissa from high school asked me to take her family photos in May as well. I have been telling her for years that when I FINALLY get my camera that I will take some photos for her. What is exciting about her shoot is that I will be helping her and her husband announce that baby #2 is on the way:)We already have our locations and ideas planned out so I’m really excited!
I also have the opportunity to take my co-worker and friend Leah’s photos for her and her friend’s up-and-coming event planning company’s website! Yay! We are still figuring out the logistics of everything but we will most likely be taking the photos in early June and I can’t wait!
I am enjoying having these fun shoots to look forward to with all the craziness at work lately. Lots of fun stuff will be showing up on the blog in the next couple of months so be sure to keep checking in.:)

Today I had the privilege of taking my sister’s Cal State University Fullerton’s graduation announcement photos:)I can’t believe she is already graduating! It seems like just yesterday I was graduating college and now she is! We decided to take the photos in front of the orange trees in my backyard. I think they came out pretty good and I had fun editing them in Photoshop! Later this month we’ll probably take some additional photos down by the beach which should be fun!

Of course we had to take some fun ones too 😉

I’ve had fun playing with my new camera these last couple of weeks:)Our kitten Daisy (8 months) and puppy Brodie (3 months) have been good sports…although Daisy seems to stay where I want her easier than Brodie 😉 Here are a few photos I took on auto mode with no editing done. I’m hoping to take a stab at taking some photos in manual mode this weekend so I’ll post my results after that! Wish me luck 😉

This last one is one of my favorites (and Tim’s too!) of Brodie so far. Thirsty little girl:)
